CBD Oil, Capsules, or Raw Hemp Extract - which one's for me?
Reakiro Admin

Choosing the correct CBD product for you can seem like a tough decision. Everybody is different, with varying tastes and preferences, so it makes sense that there isn’t just one product for everyone. Consuming CBD orally is the chosen method by most consumers (as opposed to via vape or transdermally), in this article we are going to look at three different ways of taking CBD orally to help you decide which method is for you. The three products we will be exploring are CBD oil, CBD capsules, and raw hemp extract.

CBD Oil

CBD oil is perhaps the most common form of CBD. The CBD extract is taken from the flower if the cannabis sativa plant and will have an almost untraceable amount of THC (the psychoactive element), thus meaning there is no chance of you getting ‘high’ from any legal CBD product!

CBD Oils

Reakiro's CBD extract is obtained through CO2 extraction which is the cleanest method available, other processes can leave unwanted chemical traces and byproducts. The extract is then combined with coconut-derived MCT oil which complements the consistency and flavours of the extract.

CBD oil is an easy-to-use product once you find your groove, that is to say that the recommended dosage is between 3-6 drops under the tongue, and the exact optimal amount will vary from person to person. Additionally, if you wish to get creative with your CBD and incorporate it into recipes, the oil is the perfect product for the culinary adventure.

CBD Capsules

Choose from our brand CBD soft gel capsules, or our CBD capsules with piperine (black pepper extract) for those who are looking for an enhanced CBD experience.

Each gel CBD capsule contains either 10mg, 15mg, 25mg, or 50mg of CBD oil; each CBD capsule with piperine contains 15mg of Reakiro’s premium quality CBD oil. Choose the best product for your optimal dosage, and if you don’t know - start low and increase slow

The capsule from ensures that you can reap all the benefits of the CBD oil, whilst having it in a convenient and handy form. Some people prefer capsules over CBD oil as they don’t care greatly for the natural hempy taste that comes with the oil. As is the case with CBD oil, the effects of the capsules will be felt around 20 minutes after taking them.

CBD Capsules

The biggest draw to CBD capsules is the convenience at which one can take them, on the go. If you’re in a rush in the morning, or even travelling, you don’t have to worry about finding a time and a place to take your CBD oil. Both products come in sizes of either 30 or 60 capsules, they are easy to carry or slip into a bag, and all you need to do is pop one in your mouth like a daily vitamin.

Raw Hemp Extract

This is the perfect product for someone who wants a really natural CBD experience. Whilst the other products do justice to cannabis’ natural benefits, raw hemp extract is the closest to the plant in form and composition. The extract is a thick paste, which like the oil can either be consumed on its own or incorporated into other ingredients. This product contains not only all the natural cannabinoids in the plant, but also maintains the naturally occurring terpenes and flavonoids. These compounds enhance the natural flavour and also boost the network of effects associated with CBD.

Raw Hemp Extract

So whether you’re new to the world of CBD, or you’re just looking to branch out and try a new product, hopefully this guide has been insightful. Generally people begin with the CBD oil as it is the most widely available and versatile of the products. Once you’ve tried this you can make the call of whether a richer hemp experience is for you, in which case we would suggest the raw hemp extract; or if you would prefer to take a step back but still enjoy the benefits of CBD, the capsules are probably the product for you.
